My first illustration

I recently had to opportunity to do an illustration for Slate Magazine, specifically for their "Spielberg Week" event celebrating the Steven Spielberg. Have a look:

This is my first piece on a deadline. Drawing individual beard hairs was a mistake, let me tell you.

There you have it, my first legit illustration... and I hope, not my last!

SIDE NOTE: The Orange Flavor #2 print proof arrives tomorrow! If everything looks good, I'll be giving my printer the thumbs up to fire up the presses.
